The festival of Mahashivratri is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country. In the same sequence, a huge crowd of devotees gathered at Baba Garib Nath Temple, Muzaffarpur, the Baba city of North Bihar. Devotees reached Baba Garib Nath temple since morning and performed Jalabhishek for Baba’s blessings.
Amidst the unique decoration done by Baba, devotees arrived early in the morning and lined up in Baba’s temple and after entering the temple, performed Jalabhishek. During this time, special preparations have been made in the temple by the temple administration and special decorations have also been done. Devotees arrived for Baba’s darshan and worshiped in the temple with slogans of Har-Har Mahadev.
During this, Baba Mandir priest Pandit Vinay Pathak told that special preparations were made for this since 4 o’clock in the morning. To ensure that the devotee does not face any difficulty in performing Jalabhishek, the temple administration has deployed more than 200 volunteer members. So that the devotees can get the blessings of Baba and perform Jalabhishek without any difficulty. Along with this, district administration and police force personnel have also been deployed. So that there is no problem related to law and order.
Along with this, a grand procession and marriage procession will be taken out from Baba Garibnath Temple. Separate preparations have been completed in this regard. The procession of Baba Garib Nath ji will be taken out from Ram Bhajan Market of the city in the afternoon and it will be taken out in the entire city via Baba Garib Dham temple and after a journey of about five hours, it will reach Baba temple at eight in the evening. Baba’s marriage will take place late at night.
At the same time, the Shobha Yatra has been made special and attractive, in which there will be dozens of bands and tableaux of Shiv Baraat. Thousands of devotees will participate in this and see the procession. For this, the Shobha Yatra will include Baba’s wedding procession along with all the Gods and Goddesses, Basaha, ghosts, vampires at night and transit of other planets and constellations. Which will become the center of attraction.
